I wish I was butterflyBut they have such a short lifeCocooning in and emerging with bright coloursMysterious and symbolicSignifying hope and change and celebrationsI wish I was a butterflyFlying from flower to flowerColourful and serene.

Oblivion

And into the oblivion I goTo lose all that I knowAnd be all that I amInto the oblivion I goTo lose all I haveAnd find all that I canInto the oblivion I’ll restDetached and aloof

CAFFEINATED CHAOS

Rising dawn filled with golden huesAwoke me from my prolonged slumberAs the aromas of coffee seeds allured meI like my coffee a little dark With chocolates spread across, I run on chilled caffeine chaos

Hope, little one, hopeBut not for the storm to passFor not an easy way outHope for you to see the lightWhen it all seems darkIt’s only ephemeral And although, The world is filled with agony and anguishTormented by very existenceHope that one day you will fill it with kindness, love and compassion

I saw a few familiar facesBack when there were no human racesBones and skins wrapped togetherIn utmost harmonyBreathing in the turmoil of the blue firmamentEngulfing the peace of the ‘komorebi’Rising on the shores of oceansThey meet me in the land of nothingness Komorebi – sunlight streaming through the leaves of the trees

Echo

Lurking on the dark pathsWith mind not in the same realityNot existing on the plane of existenceI am in the echoBeseeching the shadow for a dance

And they said your environment will become you So I dived into the green firmament Of lavish blues and browns Singing melodies with birds And following footsteps of butterflies For what can be more enriching than glowing and growing nature
